EARTHQUAKE CLOUDS AND
SHORT TERM PREDICTION

My 6.5 Japan Earthquake Prediction Is Successful

- January 25, 2005 -

On Dec. 3, 2004, I predicted an earthquake of magnitude more than or equal to 5 in Japan to the Public by Image 200411300300jJapanCB for the epicenter 1. On Dec. 25, 2004, I predicted another earthquake of magnitude ">=5, maybe the same of 11/30, otherwise >=5.5" in Japan to the Public by Image 200412231800jJapanCL 2. On Jan. 19, 2005, an M6.5 (M6.8 reported by Japan) earthquake happened at 34.13N 141.49E in Japan 3. The epicenter is exactly in the predicted area of the 2nd prediction, or in the coarse predicted area of the 1st prediction. Due to lacking the data I need, I am sure that my prediction is successful, but I will not know which cloud, the 1st, the 2nd, or the both together predicted the earthquake until having the final data of Apr. 6, 2005 (The USGS usually offers the final data 3 months later). I guess another in the predicted area or nearby.

2005/02/14 Note: The cloud is that of Dec. 23, 2004, whose fine magnitude window of "otherwise >=5.5" is also correct.
