In 1990, Chinese chemist Zhonghao Shou discovered a compelling relationship between cloud formations and earthquakes. Since then, he has successfully predicted thousands of earthquakes worldwide. Fifty of these statistically significant predictions were registered in advance with the United States Geophysical Survey in Pasadena, California, USA.
The Bam earthquake cloud and Shou's prediction of the earthquake that followed made his work famous. This was memorialized by the United Nations when it published his paper "Bam Earthquake Prediction & Space Technology" in Seminars of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications No. 16.
This website documents Zhonghao Shou's work in detail, and will post predictions when possible. Mr. Shou needs support to continue his research and to staff monitors to continuously survey the entire world via weather satellite images in order to detect the distinctive cloud patterns that often precede earthquakes.
